About Your Guide
Your trip to the North House Cultural Center is more than a visit; it’s an experience. Start your journey in the 1790s in our Wagon House, home to one of only six remaining Conestoga Wagons in the nation! Travel to 1821 to meet the North Family in their first Lewisburg Home. Play historic games and indulge in merriment in the recreated 1834 Star Tavern Room. Let your eyes and nose explore our medicine garden with a guided talk about the plants used by indigenous peoples and early settlers. Extend your experience beyond the cultural center by adding tickets for a docent led town or cemetery town tour.
