The Appalachian Reading Center, Inc.

The Appalachian Reading Center, Inc. is a non-profit agency that provides excellent remediation for students with language-based learning disabilities. We offer individualized tutoring for students with dyslexia and other reading problems. Services include: improving the reading skills of the people of Appalachia by providing reading tutoring through one-to-one and small group instruction using structured language approaches; providing coaching services to parents who are home schooling their children through modeled tutoring sessions and instructional support; and providing training for educators and parents in how to best implement structured language approaches.
