HOW IT ALL BEGAN...

A note from Catherine.

I started working in a local jewelry store on Saturdays when I was fourteen, this experience instantly sparked my love for collecting jewelry. After graduating college, I attended FIT in New York City to pursue fashion design. My education in fashion allowed me to travel the world designing anything from clothing, to costumes, and accessories. In 2005 I took my three daughters on the adventure of a lifetime to attend Giuseppe Zannotti's shoe design school, C.E.R.C.A.L., in San Mauro Pascoli, Italy. After an extensive career in footwear design, I had the opportunity to open a business at The Greenbrier Resort. I began hand-making my own jewelry designs in the mountains of West Virginia in 2013.

We opened the Lewisburg location, Cat & Kate, as a mother daughter collaboration in November 2021.
